Although your sense of freedom and direct contact with nature are very important to us, here in the Mingardo Camping in Marina di Camerota you will find all the necessary services for a serene, comfortable and pleasant holiday.

If you want to leave your worries home, while taking domestic comfort with you on holiday in the nature of the Cilento National Park, on the beaches of Marina di Camerota, you can choose to stay in one of our bungalows!
These one-room brick apartments can include up to 4 bed places (a double bed and a bunk bed), and feature a private bathroom and an external veranda with a small kitchen.
Our land, the meeting point of the Gulfs of Salerno and Policastro, is a place of marvels capable of filling your holiday with joys for the eyes, the spirit… and the palate!
Our coast is peppered with beaches awarded with the Blue Flag by the European Community: from the Mingardo Camping you have direct access to the Cala del Cefalo, which is right in front of the natural arch, and from here you can set off to discover many landmarks, such as San Marco di Castellabate, Agropoli, Salerno and Amalfi.
After a holiday, it’s such a privilege to carry home the thrills and feelings you felt when visiting magical places!
And we are sure this is what will happen to you after a holiday in Marina di Camerota. The town is surrounded by many marvellous landmarks you can easily reach from our camping.
If you love archaeology and history, you certainly mustn’t miss the Paestum Temples, a World Heritage Site, the archaeological excavations in Velia and Pompeii, nor the San Lorenzo Certosa of Padula, one of the most visited chartreuses in Italy.
If, on the other hand, you love the sea, you can take a solo or group boat ride and visit Capo Palinuro, near the Mingardo Camping, and the Cave of the Angel of Pertosa: a 35 million year old fable-like cave that can be visited by boat and partially on foot.
We also have agreements with the Diving Center Marina di Camerota (it is located just 100 meters from us).
Here you can do free and guided dives, even in caves and at night.
There are personalized programs, daily excursions with double immersion in the Costa degli Infreschi and Masseta Marine Protected Area, as well as snorkelling activities.
Diving courses from basic to instructor level, introductory courses to underwater speleology and courses in tourism biology are also available. Experienced instructors and a welcoming atmosphere guarantee safety and fun!
And if you want to go for a walk in clean air, what could be better than trekking along the slopes of the National Park? You can admire one-of-a-kind flora and fauna, while observing animals within their natural habitat and typical secular plants of this Mediterranean Scrubland.
If you are looking to satisfy your palate, we recommend visiting Amalfi, Capri, Maratea and Sorrento, where you will be surprised by an abundance of flavours, colours and unique views.

Rules of procedure
Before staying at the camp site please take careful view of the price list and the rules of procedure.
Failure compliance with the rules leads to the removal of the guest at the final discretion of management.
For provisions of law campers are required to stop at the Direction to inform of their arrival and sign the notification form.
Please observe the opening hours (from 8.00am to 12.00pm) and closing (from 12.00pm to 8.00am) of the gates.
The access by car in the camping is not allowed, except on arrival and departure only for loading and unloading, but never from 1.00pm to 4.00pm or after 7.00pm.
Silence must be observed from 2.00pm to 4.00pm and from 12.00pm to 8.00am, during which time are prohibited, in addition to vehicles, even the power of radio and TV and any other noise or occasion of disturbance.
The departing guests are asked to leave the bungalows, apartments and mini pitches before 10.30 in the morning, after that time will be charged an extra day.
Visits to resident guests are permitted only if within the 8.00pm and are limited to one hour. After this deadline will be charged as regulatory.
The Direction is open from 8.00am to 8.30am. Outside business hours telephone calls are not accepted, and withdrawal of documents is not available.
The Direction is not responsible in any case of theft of any items that may occur within the village, as it provides a custody service. For this reason the values NOT registered as non-existent effect of any compensation.
The Direction has a systematic allocation of pitches for tents or caravans and bungalows.
Prices include VAT, electricity, (gas, fridge, excluding linen and cookware for buildings), parking, housing money.
Children under 2 years free; over 3 years and up to 10 get a reduction of 50% of the ordinary rate per period.

The Camping Mingardo is located in the locality Torre Mingardo, in the municipality of Camerota, in the heart of the Cilento, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998.
We are located directly on the beach, 3 km from Palinuro and about 7 km from Marina di Camerota.
